1. Agricultural Development
Infrastructure plays a critical role in the development of agriculture in the following ways,
- Agriculture output depends on the expansion and development of permanent irrigation facilities.
- Modern agriculture largely depends upon the speedy and large-scale transport of agricultural inputs like seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, etc.
- Modern transport facilities also facilitate agriculture marketing.
