Question – How is China’s experience different from that of India and Pakistan, in its industrial development?
Answer –
China introduced Great leap forward campaign in 1958 under this campaign China aimed at industrializing the country on a massive scale. People were encouraged to set up industries in their backyards and due to this campaign, the industrial sector developed in China. If we compare it with India and Pakistan, they did not launch any such program due to which the GDP contribution from industrial sector is low from both the nations when compared with China.
