Question – “Infrastructure facilities raise productivity in tertiary sector of the economy.” Defend or refute the statement with valid argument.
Answer –
I will defend this statement as infrastructure helps in increasing the productivity of all the sectors. Economic infrastructure provides supporting services to the primary, secondary and tertiary sector. Construction of roads, bridges, telecom services and other infrastructure helps in the better functioning of tertiary sector as without proper roads tertiary sector would not be able to provide transportation service, Similarly without telecom the communication service is also not possible so infrastructure is important for proper functioning of the tertiary sector.
